EST Lifelong Learning Centre, Wadowice, Poland

EST Lifelong Learning Centre is a Polish continuing education provider for youth and adults founded in 1994. EST works in the following fields: foreign language courses, ICT workshops, communication skills courses, integration of disadvantaged groups into the labour market. This is a comprehensive programme teaching key competences to vulnerable social groups. The following aspects of the EST expertise put the organisation in a strong position to take the assigned responsibilities:
- EST has a substantial experience in evaluating projects co-funded by community programmes, including multilateral Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig projects as well as European Social Fund training projects (relevant for WP2)
- The centre has established a network of contacts with AE umbrella organisations: German Institute for Adult Education, Germany; Federation of the Societies for the Support of Knowledge, Bulgaria; Norwegian Association for Adult Education, Norway; Italian Union for Adult Education, Italy; Latvian Adult Education Association, Latvia (relevant for WP7)
- EST runs a language school for adult students and its teaching staff will offer foreign language services for translating and interpreting needed in the multilingual consortium (especially relevant for WP5)
